The Sunday Oregonian book section highlights book

"OREGON FEVER" receives noteworthy review in the book section of the SundayOregonian's BOOKSWEEK section. Writer Beverly Close wrote " Oregon Fever"is a wonderful collection of articles. Northwest residents will enjoy this look back at local history and thought." The book is an anthology of Northwest writings from 1965 to 1985 in the newspaper's revived Northwest Magazine. The revival took place with the appointment of journalist Joe Bianco to the post of editor for the magazine.

In a five column above- the- fold spread headlined: "Deemer culls Northwest Magazine for best of Bianco Years " the reviewer presents the evolving stages of the Northwest Magazazine. Incorporated in her review are some of the more memorable essays from the award winning magazine.

The review article appeared on Page F7 of the December 19, 2004 edition of The Sunday Oregonian . Link to book review.
